We make our oleotypes from collodion negatives. A water-based paper post-sized with gelatin is coated with a sensitizer and then exposed with a glass negative. After a watering, a relief is formed, which is partially dyed with oil paint using different brushes.
Portraits made with this technique spread a very special charm of the antique and handmade.
